Project Manager

Job Position:

Patner Construction is seeking a unique individual to lead a team and manage all aspects of a project from bidding through completion.  The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, has effective problem solving skills and takes ownership of the project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
  • Deliver projects on time and under budget while achieving the highest level of client satisfaction and quality
  • Proactively and effectively communicate with clients and project team
  • Plan and manage all technical and administrative aspects of mid-size construction projects ($1M – $10M)
  • Analyze project requirements and supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, cost estimating, submittals, procurement and project schedule
  • Coordinate and manage the bidding and proposal process
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions
  • Monitor, maintain and track project budgets and schedules
  • Supervise project close out and all related deliverables
  • Experience in cost and scheduling software such as Primavera, Viewpoint and MS Office.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager within commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Basic accounting principles and budget management
  • Personnel management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts;

Software Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have working knowledge of a scheduling software (MS Project or P6)
  • Knowledge of Viewpoint Construction Software is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of BlueBeam Software is preferred, but not required

Schedule:

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday (8 am – 5 pm)
