Patner Construction Inc. is looking for highly motivated and engaged employees who love construction; someone who wants to grow with us and leave a lasting legacy on the Washington DC landscape. We are currently in search of a Project Accountant to join our team.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Maintain all job costs and revenue for monthly accounting closes.
- Prepare monthly A/R billings on AIA forms.
- Process all monthly A/P invoices as approved by Project Manager.
- Maintain all contract documents in Viewpoint Vista.
- Collect and maintain all subcontractor COI’s, W-9’s and waivers.
- Prepare bi-weekly check runs.
- Report any financial risks and budget discrepancies to project manager and CFO.
- Collect overdue receivables.
Qualifications, skills and abilities include:
- A four year degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Project Management from an accredited college or university required
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista preferred.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
