EPA Conference Center

Description:

This project required the demolition of an existing cafeteria and buildout of a new Auditorium and Conference Center in the Ronald Reagan building just below the Mellon Event Center. Approximate work area is 25,000SF, including one main Auditorium, 8 Conference Rooms, Security Entrance, Main EPA AV/IT room, and new restrooms. The scope of work included demolition of structural columns, installation of new steel beams, high end finishes/metal ceilings, STC rated partitions and bronze glass, decorative ornate metals, Skyfold Wall, AHU/HVAC system replacement, fully integrated lighting and AV systems, exterior modifications coordinated with historical society, and full security, AV/IT, and telecom packages. Careful coordination of logistics and security was coordinated with GSA, Federal Protection Services, Secret Service, and EPA security teams.
