Ft. Belvoir Materials Receiving and Screening Facility

Project involved installation of road improvements and construction of a integrated system of active and passive vehicle barriers to stop threat vehicles from breaching the DLA Headquarters compound perimeter, as well as the construction of a 15,000 SF material receiving and screening building. The structure was build to receive, screen and process mail for the entire facility in an effort to contain any foreign material or nefarious packages outside of the main complex. The extra force protection and anti-terrorism measures were added to reinforce entire building design and withstand internal or external seismic blast.
