The Patner team made an effort to increase our involvement in philanthropy in 2023 by supporting a variety of organizations through sponsorships, donations and participation in charitable events. Here are some highlights from our 2023 Patner Promise mission!
Patner hosted a blood drive supporting Inova Hospital on behalf of Matthew Bredbenner, a Leukemia patient at Inova and the son of Patner’s Founder and Co-Principal, David Bredbenner. It was an extremely successful drive that directly benefits the community and countless individuals undergoing cancer treatments. We are incredibly grateful to our donors and everyone at Inova!
Patner was a proud supporter of Georgetown University’s BellRinger bike ride event to raise funds for life-saving cancer research at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Patner team members Eric Schulz and Justin Dunlap participated in the event riding 25 miles! BellRinger is all about gathering as a community to fight to end cancer, and we are grateful to have had the chance to contribute to these efforts.
The Patner team participated in the 10th Annual First Tee Golf Tournament at River Bend Golf & Country Club in September! First Tee is an organization that integrates the game of golf with learning experiences for children that help to build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience among other life skills. First Tee is dedicated to growing their programs that give kids the chance to thrive in a supportive, welcoming and fun environment with mentors guiding them. Patner was represented by team members Eric Schulz, Ray Mobley and Charley Mays!
Patner collected new and gently used coats and jackets in support of the 2023 Providence District Winter Gear Drive! The donations were dropped off at and distributed by Fairfax’s Jim Scott Community Center and directly benefited the Committee for Helping Others, Fairfax F.I.S.H., Secondary Story and The Lamb Center.
Patner made a charitable donation to CPG Cares, an organization committed to enriching local communities through youth development, education, health and affordable housing. Patner is grateful for the opportunity to support CPG Cares in achieving and expanding their goals for the new year!
Patner hosted our annual food drive supporting the local Food for Others organization during the month of November. We are always looking for opportunities to give back and this Thanksgiving food drive is an amazing way that we could do that!
The Patner team participated in the 2023 Belmont Charity Classic in support of the Veterans Moving Forward organization and the Invited Care Foundation! It was an enjoyable day of scramble golf, longest drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions, good food and even better company. Patner was pleased to be a part of this event that directly benefited two amazing charitable organizations!
We are thankful for the people and resources that allow us to help others, and we look forward to continuing our #PatnerPromise mission in this new year!
