Georgetown Law – 500 1st Street

Description:

This project was a fast-tracked fit-out of a nine-story building that was previously owned by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The existing low-voltage infrastructure had to be entirely reworked to provide the intended function for Georgetown University. Brand new GU security and access control measures were installed throughout the building while maintaining the existing Kastle system to monitor the fire alarm and garage entry. Every aspect of construction had to adhere to the LEED Green requirements set by the building, including all materials and installation methods.
