GU Chiller Plant

Description:

This chiller plant expansion project included the installation of a 3750-Ton centrifugal duplex Trane chiller, 3750-Ton cooling tower, primary and condenser water pumps. All site work, utilities, retaining walls, footings slab on grade and structural steel were required to support the new cooling tower, pumps and piping. This new mechanical system was integrated into the existing chilled water distribution system feeding the entire GU campus including GU Hospital and critical research facilities. A 2500KVA transformer, medium voltage switchgear and variable frequency controllers were installed to support the new mechanical equipment.
